Volunteer with 5B Anglers
5B Anglers is a completely volunteer-supported organization in Blaine County, Idaho. Our programs are made possible through the generosity of both donors and volunteers. Every event, class, and outreach effort relies on local people who care deeply about our rivers and fishing community.
We offer year-round volunteer opportunities for students, professionals seeking volunteer hours, and community members who want to give back and support fly fishing, conservation, and education in the Wood River Valley.

Current Volunteer Opportunities
All of our volunteer shifts are set up by default to be the duration of the full event. If you see an event you’d like to volunteer for but do not have availability for the full time commitment, please reach out to us directly and we would be happy to utilize whatever time you have available.
Volunteer opportunities evolve throughout the year as our programs and events take shape. Check back often — we anticipate adding more volunteer opportunities by the end of March as we gear up for a full year of events.
Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities
Spanish Speaking Board Member
We are currently looking to add a board member who is fluent in speaking and writing Spanish with the goal of making our educational materials, events, and announcements accessible to more members of our community. Please reach out to us directly if you or someone you know are interested.
