cost

The costs associated with camp are your family membership ($45/year) and your registration fee ($100 per camper).

We never want cost to be a barrier to participation. A limited number of scholarships are available for families for whom the $100 camp fee may be a challenge. Please reach out via email before registration opens so we can explore scholarship options together.

registration

We will open our registration period on March 15 at 9:00 AM. Attendance will be limited to 12 campers and we will close registration after we have filled all spots. In 2025, registration for our 101 camp filled in less than an hour. Registration will close March 31 if all spots are not full sooner.

FAQs

  • Registration is open to 5B Anglers members who hold a family membership.

You will need to fill out the kids camp registration during the registration window of March 15-31. In the registration, you will be required to upload a 1 minute video of your camper discussing why they want to attend and what they hope to learn.

  • Please visit your members only site to upgrade your individual membership to a family membership for only $15

  • Our daily camp menu is set in advance. If your child is unable to eat something on the menu, they will need to bring a sack lunch and/or snacks from home with them.

  • We will reach out to the parent on file to notify them and ask how they would like us to proceed.

We will also have a medical volunteer staffed every day and we carry an umbrella insurance policy.

  • Our home base on day 1 will be the Silver Creek Preserve Visitors Center, and day 2 & 3 will take place at Lions Park.

  • Our application is pretty standard (name, phone number, address, allergies, medications, tc.) but does also require you to submit a video of your child explaining why they want to attend and what they hope to learn. You also need to have a 5B Anglers family membership - you can sign up for your membership here.

  • You will need to fill out an individual registration for each child, and each registration will require a $100 registration fee. (Example: 3 kids means 3 registrations and a $300 total registration fee.)

  • We encourage you to prepare everything in advance so all you need to do is hit submit when registration opens. However, if camps fill up before you secure a spot, don’t worry, we’ll have a backup list for interested campers. The backup signup list will be posted after all spots are filled, providing another chance to join if a registrant becomes unable to attend.
