2022-2024 SPANISH TRANSLATED LOCAL FISHING REGULATIONS

Fishing should be for everyone — and that starts with access to the rules that protect our waters.

In collaboration with community leader and Blaine County School District employee Beatriz Leal, 5B Anglers recently completed a Spanish-language translation of the Blaine County/Magic Valley-specific section of the Idaho Fish & Game 2022–2024 Fishing Regulations.

Currently, Idaho Fish & Game does not provide these regional regulations in Spanish, creating an unnecessary and unintentional barrier for many of our Spanish-speaking neighbors. We saw an opportunity — and a responsibility — to help change that.

Thanks to Beatriz’s deep commitment and insight, we’ve been able to make this essential information more accessible and equitable. Now, more community members can fish confidently, legally, and responsibly — and feel seen while doing it.

We’re proud of this project and what it represents: a small but meaningful step toward inclusivity in the outdoors. Because access to conservation begins with access to information.
