A technical morning session on Silver Creek Preserve targeting classic hatches—BWO, PMD, and Tricos. This outing is designed for anglers comfortable with dry fly fishing who want to improve accuracy, presentation, and fish selection in spring creek conditions.

Location: Meet at Silver Creek Preserve Visitors Center (Enter through West entrance while East entrance is closed)
Cost: $50 per angler
Group Size: Limited to 4 anglers (2 hosts/guides)

Schedule

  • 7:00 – 7:30 AM: Gear up, rod and fly setup, dry fly techniques (as needed)

  • 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Split into two groups and select water to fish

Attendee Requirements

  • Valid Idaho fishing license

  • Intermediate or better casting skills

  • Ability to wade in moving water currents

Required Angler Equipment

  • 5wt or 6wt rod with floating line

  • Waders and wading boots or wet-wading setup

  • Hat, eye protection (sunglasses)
